Meeting with a local Atlanta budding food stylist tomorrow for shoot. Going to be shooting mid-day with some food in glassware. Another twist is that a silver tray is going to be in the mix. Practicing the lighting for glass and metal. Backlit with sunlight, then overhead to right was high softbox. Improvised a silver tray by using a hand-held silver reflector. We'll see what it really is all about tomorrow....

That's a beautiful image. Also it has such a beautiful simplicity that you could easily make it look as if it were done in oils with judicious use of Photoshop paint daubs + underpainting filters.
Thank you, anonymous. I truly appreciate the compliment. I'll have to look into your Photoshop suggestions -- that is definitely an area where my skills are pretty limited -- good to know manipulations like that can be tastefully done.
